Chow Energy Public Company Limited
Business Overview
The Company operates as an integrated renewable energy platform, covering project development, engineering, procurement and construction, operation and maintenance, and asset management, with the objective of delivering sustainable growth in revenue and cash flow.
Within this framework, the Company also adopts a Build–Operate–Sell strategy as its strategic approach for value creation. This strategy is designed to enhance capital efficiency, unlock the underlying value of projects, and support continuous expansion of the overall portfolio.
The Company focuses on developing and investing in renewable energy projects under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with both public and private sector offtakers, thereby establishing a stable and predictable recurring income base. This recurring income serves as a key foundation for long-term financial stability and supports the Company’s growth trajectory.
Concurrently, the Company develops projects from greenfield to commercial operation date (COD) and operates them during the initial phase to establish a proven operational track record and reduce project risk. Once projects reach operational stability, the Company may selectively divest all or part of its interests to strategic partners or institutional investors. Such divestments enable the Company to unlock hidden value embedded in its assets and realize development gains.
Proceeds from such divestments are redeployed into new projects with attractive returns, enabling efficient capital recycling. This approach enhances return on invested capital while allowing the Company to continuously expand its project pipeline and overall portfolio. The Company will carefully manage the extent and timing of divestments to maintain an appropriate balance between long-term recurring income and growth.
In addition, the Company operates across the full value chain, including EPC, operation and maintenance (O&M), and equipment distribution. This integrated model enables the Company to control project costs and quality, enhance execution capability, and create opportunities to convert EPC customers into long-term investment partners.
The Company also intends to expand its investments both domestically and internationally, focusing on markets with strong renewable energy demand, supportive regulatory frameworks, and attractive return profiles. Strategic partnerships and co-investment structures will be utilized to enhance access to projects and optimize funding sources.
Furthermore, the Company plans to expand into related energy technologies, including energy storage systems (BESS) and hybrid energy solutions, to improve energy management efficiency and diversify revenue streams.
The Company remains committed to maintaining an efficient capital structure by utilizing appropriate financing instruments, including project financing and strategic investments. Proceeds from the offering will be used to support project investments and working capital requirements, thereby strengthening the Company’s growth capacity.
In summary, the Company’s strategy combines
(i) the development of stable recurring income from long-term contracted assets,
(ii) value realization through the Build–Operate–Sell model, and
(iii) continuous portfolio expansion. This integrated approach is expected to enhance competitiveness and deliver sustainable returns to shareholders over the long term.
